About
Jeanne has studied drawing and painting for over thirty years. In recent years she has added intaglio and Japanese woodblock printmaking to her art practice. Her work is inspired by daily experience - be it the bounty of a farm stand, the curve of a beach, or the layers of color on an oyster shell. As she works in her studio and in the field she remembers this dictum of Jasper Johns: “Do something, do something to that, and then do something else.”
Her motto for life and work is taken from the American author, Willa Cather: “The end is nothing, the road is all.”
